Ellie Greenwood - Coach

Ellie ran her first marathon in Victoria, BC in 2002 and since then has run over 50 marathons and ultra marathons.  Ellie’s racing experience ranges from flat road races to mountainous and technical trail races, and she has competed at distances ranging from the half marathon to 100 miles.  Ellie’s racing highlights include IAU World 100km champion (2010 and 2014), Western States 100 mile course record (2012, 16:47:19) and 1st place at South Africa’s Comrades 89km (2014, 6:18:15). She was voted Ultrarunner of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2014, plus won the Ultra Runner of the Decade award.
